It will also be open on Tuesday evening until 7:00 PM during the Welcome Reception. Please stop by the registration desk for your registrant’s package and conference badge.

Audio Visual Equipment

Each breakout room contains a LCD Projector, 8’ Tripod Screen, and Flip Chart with markers. A Lapel Microphone is available in each breakout room for the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday sessions, but not for the Monday classes or Tuesday tutorials. All speakers are responsible for providing their own laptop computers for their conference presentation. QAI does not provide laptops or Internet connectivity for use in showing your presentation.

Track Host

A volunteer track host will be in your breakout room and will assist you in getting set-up for your presentation. The Track Host will introduce you, distribute handouts, and collect the session evaluation forms. The Track Host has a flash drive that contains your PowerPoint presentation as a backup.

Handouts

To be environmental friendly, copies of presentation slides WILL NOT be distributed in the track breakout sessions nor the EXPO Theatre. Handouts will only be provided to the attendees for the Monday classes and Tuesday tutorials. Conference attendees have the option to print PDF's of the session presentations (Wednesday through Friday) from a secured page of the QUEST Chicago website and may bring their own handouts to the conference. If you have changes or additional handouts, please make sufficient copies and bring them with you. Please contact Francine Chase at fchase@qaiworldwide.org or at the Westin Hotel has a Business Center on-site that you can use at your own expense.

Presentation Introduction

Please arrive at your meeting room 10 minutes prior to your start time.  The Track Host will introduce you before you begin your presentation based on the preference that you designated on your registration and will explain if you want to address questions during or after your presentation.

Coaching Sessions

If you have agreed to meet one-on-one with individuals who want to have a discussion with you on the area of your expertise, you will be contacted by cell phone to arrange a time for the coaching session through the QAI staff at the registration desk.

Lunch Roundtable Discussions and Expert Chats

During Wednesday’s lunch, topics will be posted at the lunch tables so that people who are interested in a specific topic will have a chance to informally discuss the topic and share their experiences and knowledge with fellow QUEST attendees.  Please join the table of the topic of your choice. It does not have to be the topic that you are speaking on at QUEST.

During Thursday’s lunch, expert chat signs will be posted at some of the lunch tables, to indicate the tables where attendees can find one or more QUEST speakers.  If you are interested in making yourself available of informal chats with the attendees, please be sure to sit at one of these designated tables.

Emergency Contact

In case you encounter a problem in arriving at the hotel in time for your presentation, please call Francine Chase, Conference Manager at 407-353-1796 or the main QAI office toll free at 866-724-6013 and the receptionist will notify the QAI staff on-site at the Westin regarding your situation.

Dress Code

Professional dress attire is requested for speakers when giving their presentations.  Otherwise the dress attire for attending the conference sessions and networking events is business casual.  Meeting room temperatures can fluctuate so it is also recommended you bring a jacket or sweater with you to the conference sessions.
